What will your first year with Qube consist of?

 

1. Preplanning

We want to ensure that we are on the same page regarding your needs, priorities, and vision for the future. Before we invest, we will create an investment proposal and a retirement plan.

2. Welcome Letter

You will receive a letter outlining all of our comprehensive services available to you. These services are included in your fees!

3. Weekly Updates

During your account set-up and security transitions, we will let you know how things are progressing on a weekly basis.

4. Debrief Meeting

We will meet with you post-placement to review your accounts.

5. Quarterly Contact

Every three months, our team will reach out to update you on your portfolio.

An Investment Policy Statement

— This document captures how you wish your funds to be invested, including quality and diversification criteria and performance evaluation plans.

Quarterly Statements

— These statements show you not only the transactions completed over the quarter, but also your account performance and how it benchmarks to other investors.

Annual Know-Your-Client Meetings

— We believe a meaningful annual meeting is a minimum to making your wealth matter. At these meetings, we seek financial planning opportunities including asset protection and tax reduction.

Semi-Annual Commentary & Qub[Ed]

— Published in July and January, our Commentary editorializes our navigation of current markets, and Qub[Ed] articles explore financial planning worth considering. Read the latest Commentary here.

Retirement Plans

— We aim to update all client retirement plans every three years unless you opt out.

Risk Management Assessment

— Many Canadians are under-insured. We want to change this and use only low-commission insurance products where insurance is proven necessary.

Will Reviews

­— We provide a unique perspective on will planning that supplements work done by clients’ lawyers. We look to help update client wills following all major life events (unless you opt out). Read our article “7 Essentials of Estate Planning” to better understand the many facets of a well-prepared will.

Estate Scope

— Estate distribution and tax analysis becomes meaningful for most clients over 50. We aim to update this scoping work every five years (unless you opt out).
